Afghan!

I started my afghan today!

Husband got me the yarn and pattern for it for Christmas and I've been wicked excited to get moving on it. Tonight, I finally figured out the pattern, and I feel that I made pretty good progress!

This afghan is from the Tender Lovin' Care Afghans book, and it's called Big Granny.

I got a box of yarn for Christmas, along with a book of patterns for pretty crocheted afghans - one in particular which I'm determined to make with said yarn. :)

Last night, I went to go start working on it and realized I didn't have the correct size hook. This means a fun (and dangerous :)) visit to the craft shop, but in the meantime I started another project - a crocheted pouch to hold all my needles and hooks, in blinding pink Caron Simply Soft. :D Pictures forthcoming.
